Some idiot wrote:

"windows vista with sp you can get 64 bit option, mac os is still 32 bit"

OS X Snow Leopard is 64bit.. so get your facts straight before you comment.

Vista is a piece of shit, no matter 32 or 64 bits.. Windows 7 is much much better, so we hope for and should make my life better in the office once we upgrade..

For now I will go back to enjoy my full 64bit OS X environment and crack open a beer :-)

The iMac 24'' is nice. You have 1 TB but if you want to play alot of games you might have to get the Windows Vista and the iMac has only a little games unlike for the vista but overall the iMac 2.8 Ghz and 3.06 Ghz are awesome

There is no i7 for the laptop (at least a laptop version, you can put a desktop chip in it, but it will not be energy efficient.). Also os x on a 64bit/ 32bit hybrid since tiger. I do have to agree with you for expandability.

its not just the hardware, windows OS can also be tweaked for music/video production. that's why OPEN LABS sells a whole brand of professional keyboards that beat any mac.

it doesnt matter if pcs have better hardware, its not like theyre actually so much faster. You dont hear anyone complains about their macs being slow.
a 2000$ dollar PC is not exactly faster than a 2000$ mac. It may be more high-tech and have awesome updated hardware, but it doesn't make said PCs obviously faster than mid-high level macs.

a 2000$ dollar Personal Computer is not just faster than the 2000$ mac. It might be some-more high-tech as well as have overwhelming updated hardware, though it doesn’t have pronounced PCs patently faster than mid-high turn macs.

well if you make beats, its good. only thing is that its not expandable like a mac pro and especially like a audio pc ... audio PCs are highly expandable.

but if you are using a firewire hardware keyboard like yamaha motif xs and a firewire soundcard, you can only plug with a hub.

pcs are way ahead of macs...now we have core i7 laptops...mac laptops are still core2 duo, lol.

windows vista with sp you can get 64 bit option, mac os is still 32 bit.

tweaked win is better than a mac for music
